She's not an assassin...she's a lobbyist with a penchant for making up stories and she happened to find a dude that was gullible enough to believe them.
It's absolutely hilarious though. I love that his friends were all like 'Dude, you're an idiot' and he's all like 'No, you don't know what I know '.

That said, this is a fantastic story and thank you for linking to NPR which boiled it down to its essence, and that essence is hilarious.

Is that the truth, she's a lobbyist? Obviously lobbyists have their own brand of 'smart' and most are smarter than the average bear, and it's hilarious^2 that she convinced him of this. He looks like even more of an idiot.
In the end he'll feign total knowledge of it and call it a strategy, but he does seem like a douche who would shout this in public, forever on the public record for people to refer back to.
Ahhh, yeah, Kurt Bush. Wasn't he the feller what dated the James Bond girl?

Yup, she's listed under the "Business Infrastructure and Political Lobby Support" section for her company along with her access to a bunch of Congressional committees.
I just hope they keep digging this hole to China. It's damned golden.
